Academic success is a priority at SFTKD…please check that your child’s homework or assignments are completed prior to coming to class or be assured that they can be completed soon after class.

We require that school age students bring in all Progress Reports and Report Cards. We want to reinforce academic success and encourage improvement when needed. Failing classes will initiate a meeting with SFTKD instructors, the student and parent which could result in suspension of training at SFTKD until grades improve.

We also ask the students to bring in any special awards they earn for any school, athletic, cultural or civic activity they are involved in. We like to recognize student accomplishment and awards.

DoJang restrooms are for students and instructors only. Handicapped restroom is available in the DoJang.

Public restrooms are on the 2nd floor. Please do not send children under 10 up to the 2nd floor unaccompanied.

Please remember there are other businesses on the 2nd floor. Do not allow your children to be loud or run on the stairway or in the halls.

Those carrying babies or who are handicapped should park in the front of the building. Additional parking is available in the large fenced lot at the rear of the building.

Mr. Mello has been a Police Officer for many years and I have had a 33 year career in education. We’ve seen and heard it all! If you have a problem with your child or anything else please feel free to talk to us.

We just might act as a sounding board; give our best advice or actually help with intervention.

PARENTS: PLEASE read the calendar and bulletin board or other notices posted in the Parents Room.

We know you don’t realize it but many times the parent’s room discussion and jocularity gets very loud. PLEASE remember that your child is trying to hear commands and concentrate on developing their skills.

PLEASE, PLEASE do not interact with your child once he or she is in the DoJang.

We have spent hundreds of dollars trying to make the Parents Room as viewer friendly and as comfortable as the structure of the building would allow. Please help keep it clean. Be sure all trash you or your children and guests create is properly disposed of.

Do not lean directly on the large window or the door window facing the Do Jang.

If you have to come to the office please follow the black mats. DO NOT come onto the DoJang floor with heels on or if you have muddy or mucky shoes or boots.
